  5. Miss,
If love is an omnipresent and universal emotion, then the pain it often causes (Many Might Say, Inevitably Causes) is equally omnipresent and universal. This begs the question: Why do the saddest of paintings bring a type of strange pleasure to us? I’m sure there are psychiatrists who have the answer to this question. I’m doubly sure it is a different answer than I; “A Poet” would give. Perhaps a burden born by one eventually grows too difficult to bear, and placing our written words or painted images in the hearts of others ease’s the sadness.

  7. Hello and thanks everybody!

    ...

    Dean,
I think man is always bound to the negative in his subconscious because of the fear this world offers him...Maybe it's not about easing his sadness by image or written words, but rather making him (spectator/reader) feel something he always felt before... so it is a kind of remembrance, I think... and remembering he becomes one with you, the writer/painter/whatever....

    ...

    Érico,
I will visit your blog. :)

  12. Your work is beautiful in its own right - loose the music: it's annoying.

  20. Paradoxically though it may seem, it is none the less true that life imitates art far more than art imitates life.
