(A very good friend of mine described this work by "the perpetual pace of circling". She was accurate. I see existence like this...)

Miss, If love is an omnipresent and universal emotion, then the pain it often causes (Many Might Say, Inevitably Causes) is equally omnipresent and universal. This begs the question: Why do the saddest of paintings bring a type of strange pleasure to us? I’m sure there are psychiatrists who have the answer to this question. I’m doubly sure it is a different answer than I; “A Poet” would give. Perhaps a burden born by one eventually grows too difficult to bear, and placing our written words or painted images in the hearts of others ease’s the sadness.
Hi, Melinda! Beautiful blog! I'm very happy to know your home (sorry my bad english!). I had put it in my favourits and I will come again. I'm a brazilian fan of jazz and I'd like to invite you to visit my blog Jazz + Bossa: http://ericocordeiro.blogspot.com/ Thanks and keep swinging!
Dean, I think man is always bound to the negative in his subconscious because of the fear this world offers him...Maybe it's not about easing his sadness by image or written words, but rather making him (spectator/reader) feel something he always felt before... so it is a kind of remembrance, I think... and remembering he becomes one with you, the writer/painter/whatever....
I was looking at your blog, and I like it and I want to invite you to visit my blog, and if you follow me, I will follow you. I hope to hear from you soon...

questa è una spatola eccezionale, direi una SPATOLA magica (in italiano si dice SCATOLA magica quando escono cose bellissime da una SCATOLA)
ReplyDeleteYour work is beautiful in its own right - loose the music: it's annoying.
